The Harmony team and members of the community took over NFT.NYC during the 1st week of November, 2021. The following breakdown looks to highlight just a few of the many incredible events and milestones the protocol participated in.

Building NFT Bridges in New York City
The week in NYC was focused around celebrating the cultural phenomenon NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) have become and to collaborate with creatives and technicals alike to chart the course for further adoption.
Harmony took the city by storm with the premier of the latest marketing campaign from the upcoming creative DAO headed by Adrian Robison.
This campaign “Build Wealth in Harmony” (link to full ad spot)
builds upon the vision from founder Stephen Tse and the Harmony community and follows the journey of young Harmonauts defining what it means to build wealth in the 21st century. This billboard coincided with a “Blue Out” event, effectively taking over the heart of Time Square.
200+ New Yorkers donned Harmony Blue shirts and cheered alongside New York legends like The Naked Cowboy while multiple members of the Harmony Core team spoke about their journey to the moment “Blue” took over Time Square.
Leo Chen (pictured left) spoke about the journey from the earliest days of testing, to watching the exponential growth and social change being brought forth through Harmony and cross-chain NFT communities.
New Yorkers found daily respite from keynotes each day at The Edison Hotel Friedman’s Cafe, where Harmony greeted hundreds of guests daily with complimentary breakfast and information about our rapidly growing NFT ecosystem. Vistors flocked to The Edison in the thousands each day as one of the flagship locations for the NFT.NYC event.
Harmony Presence at Top Events
Industry titans like Dapper Labs, OpenSea, Gary Vaynerchuk, Bored Ape Yacht Club and others held networking workshops and keynotes throughout the week. The team did an incredible job at not only being present at each of these major events, but networking and and nurturing new relationships, grants, and deals that will pave the way for future innovations from Harmony.
Leaders like Vera Li, Leo, Jackie and others represented Harmony during Bored Ape Yacht Club first ever ApeFest, a groundbreaking in person celebration of the NFT blue chip project. This event was highlighted by an actual Yacht being guided through the Hudson River. Appearances during the subsueqent warehouse event were:

DeFi Kingdoms Takes over NYC
DeFi Kingdoms was one of the hottest topics of the week as Flu and Sirsapient donned the legendary $JEWEL green hoodies during NFT.NYC.
Passerby were flagging down the team in droves to talk about P2E and how Harmony is the leader in fostering an ecosystem like the one made by the DeFi Kingdoms team.
Promotional sizzle reels were displayed during Zi Wang and Timeless DAOs sold out RSVP event at TAO Downtown. The event was highlighted by performances and a packed house celebrating all things Harmony and the vision for the future. However, DeFi Kingdoms was just getting started.
DeFi Kingdoms Takes on Wall Street
The most recognizable landmark in all of Wall Street found out just what a Jewel looked like up close and personal as Charging Bull guest starred in the featured promotional shots for DeFi Kingdoms viral marketing campaign.
The shots on Wall Street were captured to visualize the “charge” against entrenched play to earn games DeFi Kingdoms has dethroned in recent rankings from DappRadar.
The team also had a chance to sit down with Ryan Matta. Flu gave Ryan an in depth tutorial on how to get started with his own hero and how to earn xp through the gameplay mechanics.
Ryan also sat down with GlobeyNFT to talk all things Harmony and begin a series of conversations that will continue over the next several months with leading content creators in the space.
